One cant really fault whats on the screen in Dragon wars. but everything behind the pretty pictures seems like it was put together hurriedlypart of a school project. You know what i mean when you start saying things choice phrases like…&quot;Er, what?&quot;, or &quot;what&#39;s he doing here?&quot; and the classic &quot;why would they do that?&quot;. I don&#39;t know much about the writers but I think they took lessons from from class 1a. You know, the kids who play in the sand pit with their action figures….making sure the good guys always get away &quot;just in time&quot;. its this total lack of real drama and logic that REALLY makes it seem immature.<br/><br/>NEVERTHELESSwith axe coplongyou&#39;re not looking for anything too serious you&#39;ll have fun. Especially wondering &quot;how did they decide that this was right?&quot; I saw this film last night on television together with my son and nephew of 10 and 12. They really enjoyed this flick. I noticed with them they are looking for something interesting to watch. And this movie has some interesting stuff to watch. Mythical creatures, cool bad guys, cool battles and also some humor. So we were really entertained.<br/><br/>I think nowadays we are really spoiled with film and nice special effects, top notch production etc. I think it&#39;s important if something is made with heart in it. And I feel the director, producer really did an effort to make his vision into this film. <br/><br/>On itself it&#39;s an enjoyable film with reasonable special effects, storyline and acting. It gave us a nice time together and I&#39;m thankful for that While the CGI effects are undeniably impressive, the laughable story line, risible dialogue and cheap humor (most of it involving a hapless zoo security guard) seriously detract from the fun.
